Beyond the
success story.

After twenty years building companies across three continents — some that soared, others that taught us more through failure — Elena and I recognized that the conversations that truly shaped our decisions happened quietly, far from the stage lights and keynote slides.

Our studio walls still hold handwritten notes from early brainstorming sessions. We kept them there intentionally. We want every guest to enter a space that feels like a conversation among peers, not a performance for an audience.

No prepared talking points. No media-trained responses. Just genuine reflections from the people building the future we will all inhabit.

Maya Lindqvist on the
pivot that changed everything.

DavidYou rebuilt the entire platform after your Series B fell through. Take us back to that moment when you realized the original vision wasnt going to work.
Maya L.It was 3 AM. I was staring at a runway spreadsheet that said we had eight months left. And I remember thinking — we could try to save the old product, or we could build something our customers actually needed.
DavidHow did you convince the team to essentially start over?
Maya L.I didnt convince them. I let them convince me. We locked ourselves in that conference room for three days. No laptops, just whiteboards and honesty. By day two, our lead engineer said something that stuck with me.
DavidWhat did he say?
Maya L.He said, "We have been optimizing for investors, not for users. And users dont care about your tech stack." That was the pivot point. We stopped building what sounded impressive and started building what solved real problems.
DavidLooking back, what metric told you that you were finally on the right track?
Maya L.It wasnt revenue. It was when our customers started referring us without being asked. When they started introducing us to their peers because they genuinely wanted to share what we had built. That organic enthusiasm — you cannot fake that.
